I think NFT collabs with major brands are great for making the NFT world a household concept. They can attract more mainstream attention and adoption to the space, and showcase the potential of digital art and collectibles. However, I also think that the next evolution in terms of use case is seeing the collabs consolidate around standard practices, so that consumers don’t get confused or lost in the intricacies of protocols, compatibility, gas fees, and so on. Also, beyond flexing on social media, the next advances will show how owning a Tiffany NFT could provide real world membership benefits in store and across brands. That would be a true value proposition for NFTs and their owners.
